Richard L. Rosenbaum concentrates his practice in the areas of appellate matters, criminal defense, domestic relations and civil litigation. Mr. Rosenbaum has been extremely successful at the trial court level as well as in the appellate arena.
Professional Activities and Achievements
Mr. Rosenbaum has represented many “white collar” criminal defendants in state and federal court proceedings. He successfully represented Lionel Tate, the youngest child in the country sentenced to life imprisonment as result of an incident which occurred when he was 12 years old resulting in the death of his 6-year-old friend. In addition, Mr. Rosenbaum was a member of the team of lawyers who successfully represented baseball star Jose Canseco in 2003 when he was charged with violating the terms and conditions of his community control. He has handled dozens of other high-profile criminal and civil cases.
Mr. Rosenbaum is a member of the Broward County and American Bar Associations, The Florida Bar, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
